After waking up in the morning, most of us head towards the bathroom. For visible effects, five minutes every morning are enough. What should the morning face care routine look like?
Cleaning
Even though you put your mind to removing make-up in the evening and you’re sure that your skin is clean, it is not true. Even at night, the skin produces sebum and gathers dust that must be removed. The cleansing products you choose should be mild not to irritate delicate skin. It is hard to get rid of red spots on cheeks or camouflage them with make-up. Moreover, a gel, a foam or other product must go along with a skin type. After using it, you simply dry your face with a towel.
Restoring Balance
A face toner brings relief and freshness, and restores acidic pH. Moreover, it reduces the visibility of pores. When the toner is absorbed, move on to a daily face cream.
Skin Care
Before the application of make-up, you need to properly prime your face. To do that, apply a suitable cream over the foundation. A moisturiser is the most common, preventing skin drying due to a foundation, powder or highlighter. Still, it’s not the only choice. A matte-effect cream works much better in the case of oily skin. As much as the product’s benefits should be customized, each cream must contain SPF. It protects skin from the harmful sunrays – all year round, not just in summer. You shouldn’t forget the under eye cream. Its application is recommended for the morning routine because around eye skin doesn’t work when we’re asleep.
Make-Up
Make-up products that we choose must respect the type and needs of our skin. Mineral make-up products which almost never cause allergic reactions are a good idea. It is important to all skin types, not just sensitive and allergy-prone skin. You should pick SPF foundations. Light foundations, especially Korean BB creams, have better skin benefits because they don’t weigh skin down.
